| so I have this laptop that I am trying desperately to get used to.
I notice that when I am typing, the cursor will just randomly just go back to where I have already typed something
does anyone know why this is happening? or how to stop it?

| I'd like to know the answer too. Sometimes when I type, if I go back and correct something I already typed, the letters start deleting. I don't know how to correct that either. | |

I don't know how to correct that either. Shelia that happens to me of a desk top on certain sites if I'm typing and try to correct I find I have to write everything over. gets pretty frustrating to me...

| That happens to me, too, and I think it might be because the keyboard is more sensitive. I actually use a separate keyboard plugged into one of the USB ports because it's much easier to type.
If you find you end up replacing words already typed, make sure the insert/delete key is on insert.

| You're welcome. You know I am the computer expert. NOT!
Keyboards I know - the rest I don't.

| Rosie, mine is at the top next to print screen and pause break.
I have no idea how it happens when it does delete but it's a pain.

| There are settings on the laptop, I do not where or how they operate. For me my problem was accidentally hitting the touch pad when I was typing and everything got all effed up. It is all about the sensitivity. I bet you if you google your model laptop, and "keyboard sensitivity" you can find something. | |

| Rosie, I dunno. Tim fixed mine, and I don't know how. I will ask him this weekend, and post what I find out. But, you might have fixed it by then. | |

| Deb thanks in advance for asking him!
The court case is over. Their attorney said they would drop any punitive damages (money out of Doug's pocket) in exchange that he did not testify. So they went that way. Guess they were concerned about his side of things BUT the jury awarded them $120,000.00 from the insurance company. I am thinking they might appeal it.
But as for Doug it is over.
He said this couple was very nice to him and blessed him and hugged him and said they understood things happen. They offered him some of the snacks they had brought for themselves. Not sure how *I* feel about but it is his deal kwim?
one calamity down.....on to the next. What a pessimist I am LOL
thanks to all of you for your concern!
