| so far, all I know is chicken.
Joey wants to grill it outside so I am game. Let him do the work lol
I dont know yet what to make with it.
I have some avacados I might just slice up with some maters and purple onion with some oil and vinegar.
can we keep this thread going? I was thinking it might help us come up with new ideas for dinner. OR it might blow our diets
it is up to you guys. It was just a thought

| I'm game for that!
We are having leftover gumbo that I made yesterday. I put too much salt in it, though.

| Sounds good to me.......I'll bite. HAHAHA!
Tonight I am at Tim's. We grilled chicken tenders last night, and I am going to make a chicken salad with the leftovers for my lunch, with pecans, red onions, and celery.
For dinner, we will have either Beer Battered Tilapia (from the freezer section) or smoked sausage, left over Corn Casserole (which I made last night, and it was AWESOME.....and easy) and Creamed Spinach. (also from the freezer section.)

| OMG. So, I am watching a marathon of Anthony Bourdain's No REservation. I LOVE that show, and I am all tuckered in my jammies on Tim's recliner, staying dry. And Mr. Bourdain is here: http://www.calumetfisheries.com/photos.htmlAnd I want some. NOW! | |

| Well we just had some dressing made from cornbread muffins I had left over from the other day when I cooked all that stuff. I used the muffins and poured chicken broth over it and used egg beaters in it to hold it together.Warmed up some of that chicken and that was all I wanted. I did cook some snow peas but they didn't get cooked before I finished eating so they'll be for tomorrow. Oh I chopped up a big onion and put in that dressing too...then just baked it and it was good to me. But I love cornbread dressing . | |

| I cooked a pork loin yesterday and have most of it left. We're having au gratin potatoes, green beans and I gotta have corn with it. Tomorrow we are having seasoned hamburger steaks and mac & cheese. I finally made banana bread today. I haven't tried it but Jon says it's great. I ate yogurt for lunch. My cats love it. | |

| Dang, ya'll eat REAL food! We had Honey BBQ chicken that you buy in the freezer aisle at WalMart. That's it, no sides. Guess I could have slapped it on a piece of bread or something. | |

| If I worked a full time job I wouldn't cook. For real.
Well maybe eggs or oatmeal, cereal.
Who has time to cook when you work from sun up to sun down AND do what you need to get done on the weekends. There is no time. Sunday ???
Glenn cooks big sometimes on the weekend so I get a break from it during the week but he only does that when he's not busy doing other stuff.
I admire you. I admire any woman that works all day and comes home to do more work. I don't know how you all do it.

I enjoy cooking when I have the time otherwise I really dont.

| I don't cook much during the week, aside from a grilled cheese sammie, or a microwaved TV dinner. When I am at Tim's I cook, but then I cook longer food, since it is the weekend. Rosie, although in person she annoys me to no end, I am a big fan of Rachael Ray's 30-min meals. I make stuff from her recipe lists and don't tell Tim until he has eaten it and he says it is ok. HA! | |

| Yum! If it isn't raining when I leave, I will go to the sto, so I can have lunch for today and tomorrow, and I will pick up something convenience-like. If it is raining I will have ramen noodle. | |

Sounds good Mable, I brought Jeff a salad from the cafeteria at the hospital and I ate a slice of cheese pizza. We have some really good food in our cafe, it's a Morrison's if anyone knows what that is. I love brussel sprouts! Shelia, it wouldn't be hard for me to cook, I CAN do it, I just don't enjoy it. I'm anal, I have to plan it and then buy the stuff, trip to the store. Then organize for the prep, cook it and do the dishes. Then put the dishes away! Takes me hours. If I could go to the grocery store with a big old list and shop without getting panicky then maybe...

| Aw.......Morrisons. I loved Morrisons. We don't got em up here. I am now having tacos. Went to the Whole Foods, and got a half pint of chopped beef, some fresh corn tortillas~a pack for 99 cents, and some pico. Just gonna warm em up in a few. Got some tarragon chicken salad, but they don't put pecans in it. GRRRRRR. In a half pint to split for two lunches with my RyKrisp crackers. | |

| I know Morrison's from Florida and I loved them! We dont have them here. We have nothing like that here.
We used to go to one in Colorado called Furr's. I loved it but Joe hated cafeteria eating. It reminded him of being in the service.
