Split pea anyone?
I have a ham bone with some good meat left over and I'd love some split peas, anyone have a good recipe? Or at least made it from hard peas? I don' know how to prep and cook it. I know...you're shocked.

I'll have to call my Mom, she'd be very pleased if I asked. Funny, I detest English peas but the soup is wonderful.

I've never made split pea soup because my whole family wouldn't eat an English pea at all. They sure wouldn't eat the soup. Doesn't it cook to a mush?

Nope, never was interested, and now I am, but Tim had too much as a kid. And he doesn't want it now.
